Challenge
To deliver a sensitive media event to convey their core business messages of commitment to Asia and China through electronic and print media to a mass audience against the noisy backdrop of the Shanghai Auto Show.

Solution
Taking the 230 strong international press contingent away from noise and distraction of the floor of the Auto Show, but still staying in the venue ensured maximum participation and minimised disruption. Orientating the room and the set design to be camera friendly ensured every shot to be on brand and on message. Converting the event registration area to a GM Café so as press would stay for lunch gave even more opportunity for engagement.

Result
Effectively leveraged Shanghai Auto Show’s concentration of press to relay key business messages to an Asia Pacific and Global reach.
